We know the idea of being physically fit and having a fitness workout plan varies from person to person. The definition varies also from person to person. 2. Muscles: Working on muscles is another part of making sure your body is physically fit. Many of our daily activities would be impossible if it was not for muscles. Plus, muscles aid us in our weight loss goals as they burn fat. You can work on your muscles by lifting weights. 3. Endurance: To have maximum muscle strength, you should also work on your muscles’ endurance. Endurance is vital to achieving your physical fitness goal. You should try ‘testing’ how strong your muscles are. To further improve your level of endurance you can go bicycling or use a step machine.
4. Flexibility: Flexibility is your body’s ability to move in various ranges of motion. It can also gauge how well your joints are. Flexibility should be an important part of your fitness program, as it can help prevent injuries, and lessen pain. Normally, the most flexible athletes would be gymnasts or swimmers, but you can achieve flexibility simply by remembering to stretch. Yoga is another great way to work on your flexibility.
5. Body Composition: Body composition is how much fat against muscle you have. The answer can be achieved by your BMI (Body Mass Index). It is ideal to have more muscle than fat. Women have more fat on their bodies than men do, which is why it often takes longer–and is more difficult–for a woman to achieve her fitness goals. Working on your strength training and doing regular aerobics are both great ways to get to your ultimate physical fitness level. So include these as much as possible in your fitness workout plan to have all round fitness.

Therefore, fat around the stomach will be burnt over time. You cannot count on these exercises alone. You need to workout your entire body and follow a healthy diet to quicken your metabolism. This will help you to achieve your weight loss goals.
Drastically cutting down your calorie intake will reduce your body’s fat content. No! In fact, this misconception has managed to bring many people to crash dieting as a quick way to shed those unwanted extra pounds. However, they do not realize just how harmful to their body this is. In reality, when you starve yourself, or fast, your body believes it is going to die, and immediately switches on ’starvation mode’. When in this mode, your metabolism slows down, and your body feeds itself on muscle, keeping fat in reserve, to produce necessary energy. By doing this, you do not lose fat at all, and only succeed in losing important muscle mass. Then, when you finally return to your regular diet routine, not only will you gain back the lost pounds, but you will gain extra weight as well.
Finally, many believe that cardio and aerobic exercises by themselves are enough for weight loss. Yes, cardio exercises are conducive to losing unwanted fat, but it is important to remember that this is not the only exercise that is good for weight loss. Weight lifting is better to build muscles and lose weight. However, cardio work outs will build the aerobic capacity and help with endurance and hence, burn calories. Weight lifting not only helps you burn unwanted fat, but also turns it into vital muscle mass.

Rest assured though, I am about to tell you weight loss truths that anyone trying to shed any excess weight needs to know.
No matter what you read or hear, there are NO ‘easy or immediate’ weight loss solutions. There are too many weight loss myths that can confuse you. When you hear or see an ad for weight loss that seems too good to be true, chances are it is! Weight loss is a process that takes time, dedication and consistency. When you decide to lose weight, remember that it also takes much discipline and willpower. You cannot change your eating habits and lifestyle overnight; it takes time. You cannot expect to lose a drastic or notable amount of weight in a week. Many people think that they cannot lose weight or find that it is extremely difficult to lose weight consistently. In my experience, however, I do not think this way. I believe that most people only need to change their diet a little to see results and lose weight.
My “Seven Keys to Eating Correctly” were created to help guide my clients in their dieting. When my clients tell me they are not losing weight, I ask them which of these keys they are not following and have always received an answer. By following these seven keys, you will see the results that you are looking for.
#1 - Take a supplement. Even if you are eating healthy, it is difficult to make sure that you are getting all of the vitamins and minerals that your body needs. By taking a multivitamin and mineral supplement, as well as calcium and an antioxidant complex, you can give your body the supplements it needs to work efficiently.
# 2 - Don’t skip breakfast. You want to be sure that you include a complex carb, fat, and protein in your breakfast each morning to give your body what it needs first thing in your day.
# 3 - Preparation can make the difference. By getting your meals ready ahead of time, even two days or a week ahead, you can take some of the selection process out of the equation and eat healthier.
# 4 - Eat more frequently. You want to be sure to eat around over three to four hours. Including protein is essential to help keep your body’s nitrogen balance in the positive range. Small meals can help to keep the insulin levels of your body more balanced.
